Town of Keystone Receives Department of Local Affairs Grant to Support Hiring of New Town Manager

[Keystone, Colorado] On March 19, 2024, the Town of Keystone was notified of the approval of a $351,000 grant award from the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) to assist with the appointment of the Keystone Town Manager. This grant will help cover the costs of paying the Town Manager over the next three years. The grant will cover 75% of the manager’s salary and costs in the first year, 50% in the second year, and 25% in the third year. 

Grant funds were awarded under the Energy/Mineral Impact Assistance Fund (EIAF) Grant. The Department of Local Affairs administers this grant program to promote sustainable community development, increase livability and resilience of communities through strategic investments in asset-building activities. 

The Town of Keystone is honored to receive this grant award. This will help with the Town Council’s goal of providing effective governance in a cost-effective way for constituents.
