The Town has contracted with two software providers to administer Short Term Rental licenses and regulations. The goal is to provide a streamlined and effective process that works well for everyone in the community.
BlueVector AI is working with the Town to develop an application for administering STR licenses. The Town is currently working with BlueVector to import all of the existing license data from Summit County and building out the renewal application process. This is expected to go live at the beginning of August. All current Short-Term Rental license holders will be notified when this process launches.
Deckard Technologies is working with the Town to provide STR identification and a 24/7 hotline. They will provide the Town with useful data about the rentals that exist in the community, including projecting occupancy rates and ensuring that the Town is aware of all rentals in the community. Their 24/7 hotline will focus on complaint resolution and will assist the Town in enforcing the "Responsible Agent" requirements outlined in the regulations.
